Resident committee

Introduction

 We have been using HETA since January 2024.  There you will find the latest meeting documents In Finnish) and maybe more.

Residents can suggest practically anything. We aim to respond to suggestions as soon as possible. Inappropriate suggestions may be removed. More information about resident democracy can be found on HEKA's website at resident-democracy

The textile cleaner can be borrowed by Siilitie 7 residents. Extremely dirty, vomited, soiled, or urinated-on carpets or textiles cannot be cleaned with the device. In such cases, please take your carpet to the laundry. More information below.

The club room has table space for about 36 people, with seating for a bit more. The club room also has a TV where you can watch matches or movies. 

You can check the reservation status of the club room and textile cleaner on Google Calendar. The calendar doesn't display the name of the person who made the reservation (except for Residents' Committee reservations):

The Gym has 2 bikes, weights, etc. Keys can be asked from the chairperson of the residents' committee. The space is available for residents from 7 am to 9 pm. Residents are expected to keep the space tidy themselves. There is also a notebook in the gym where one should write their name and the date every time they use the premises.

Suggestions, requests, and questions can be sent to the Residents' Committee email or the laundry building mailbox. Suggestions can also be submitted through HETA.

Textile cleaner instructions

The textile cleaner can only be borrowed by residents of Siilitie 7.  If you are interested, contact the person in charge.  

You must return the device clean and dry (washing and drying instructions are detailed in the user manual) at the agreed-upon time. The device should also be wiped clean from all touch surfaces with a mild detergent.

Especially dirty, vomited, soiled, or urinated carpets or other textiles cannot be cleaned with the device. In such cases, please take your carpet to the laundry.

Never use any other detergent in the textile cleaner than the RM 519 detergent specifically intended for it. Pour 100-200 ml of detergent into the designated container.

If the device breaks due to improper use, the tenant is responsible for acquiring a new equivalent device as compensation. The resident commits to this when borrowing the device.
